About the Excursion:

This is my daily driver.  Basically, I got sick of driving a mini and wanted a full size.  I was originally going to buy a F-350 crew cab, but Lorie talked me into the Excursion as a family vehicle (mind you it seats 8 and we only have 1 kid).  I only had the 33's on it for a few months before I got sick of them.  I was only going to do the 6" kit with 36s, but the wife said you might as well get the 8" and 38's since it will only be a matter of time before you end up with it anyway.  She's right and it saved saved me time and money from having to rip everything out again 6 months down the road.

Specifications:

Engine/Trans:  7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel with TS Performance 4-Stage chip. 4" stainless steel exhaust with Air Raid intake.

Lift:  8" Edge front springs and 14" Atlas rear springs with Dual Billstein 7100 reservoir shocks, Edge dual steering stabilizer kit and Edge adjustable trac bar

Front Axle:  Dana 50 with 4.30 gears

Rear Axle:  Sterling 10.5 with 4.30 gears

Drive Shafts:  High Angle Driveline drive shafts front and rear with 1350 CVs.  The front shaft is a long spline extended 12" travel.

Tires & Wheels:  38" Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip tires on Weld Racing Typhoon wheels

Body:  Removed factory Limited Edition ground effects and pin striping removed and blended with factory paint by Dave Harris of Harris Auto Body.

Interior:  Tan leather interior with heated seats.
